Super Soldier Syndrome (BuckyxReaderxSteve) Part 2

     "Here you go!" exclaimed the cheerful waitress, amused by the acts Steve and Bucky had performed. 

     Just a couple minutes earlier, Steve and Bucky were running into the shack, violently and roughly pushing each other aside, though due to their endurance, had caused them no pain. The boys' bickering could be heard over a mile away. I'm buying (y/n)'s ice cream!... No, I am!... GET AWAY, I AM!.... Bucky, I insist... No, Stevie, I insist!... 

     "HAH!" exclaimed Bucky, smirking and fabulously tossing his hair aside, "I told you I'd pay for it!"

     Steve rolled his eyes, "You're just lucky I didn't stick your arm in the door..."

     "Oh, shut up, punk!" Bucky laughed, reaching over you to lightly punch Steve in the arm, "I still did it anyway!"

     Steve snickered, taking a lick of his waffle cone. You were sitting on the seat between Bucky and Steve, occasionally being unintentionally nudged by one of their muscular arms. When Buck wasn't prodding you with his 15 inch biceps, Steve was with his 16 inch! You snickered at the thought quietly, eventually becoming used to it and demolishing your sundae. 

     "Need some help with that?" giggled Steve, looking over at you. Of course, you were the last still eating, keeping the others waiting for at least half an hour. The Captain had finished his double scoops of ice cream, cone and all within a few minutes, along with the Winter Soldier, who had finished the ice cream sandwich that looked minuscule in his hands in just a few bites. 

     You look at Steve then over at Bucky, who were both smirking. "Go for it!" you burped, causing laughter from the two men. You reached over the counter, grabbing two extra silver spoons, handing them to your buds. You watched them devour the remaining half of your jumbo sized sundae in a matter of seconds. 

     "Damn!" you exclaimed, clearly impressed by their skills. 

     Steve shrugged and Bucky flashed you a goofy smile. Steve left a generous tip underneath your bowl and walked you out. This time, he was the one who put his arm over you, earning a scoff from Bucky. You looked up at Steve, who was giving Bucky a competitive smirk, completely oblivious to the meaning behind it. 

     Bucky eventually caught up, holding the door out for you and Steve. "Bucky," you hiccuped, barely recovering from the brain freeze, "you didn't have to get me the party size, I only needed the small! That can already feed two people!"

     "Says the one that once ate two take-out pizzas!" he blurted. 

     "Oh, whatever!" you laughed, playfully pushing him then putting your hand on Steve's shoulder to catch your balance. 
     "Well, we have about two hours to spare, should we go into town, then the park?" Steve suggested, catching your waist as you stumbled back.
     "Yeah, let's go!" you exclaimed, running off into the distance.
     Steve blushed, astonished that he had held you so close. Bucky, however, ran after you, his hair blown back as he ran. Steve smiled, running after you, his heart beating fast not because he was running, but because of something else...

     "It's beautiful!" you smiled, spinning around in the delicate white, chiffon dress, elegant, but casual. The soft and layered fabric fell flawlessly past your ankles, the simple Queen Anne sleeves accentuating your collarbone.
     You hadn't noticed, but Bucky was in complete awe. He absorbed your graciousness and how beautiful you looked in your dress, how your beautiful (h/c) hair fell on your back, which was slightly revealed from the behind.
     "Y-You like it?" blushed Steve, interrupting Bucky's thoughts, causing his smile to slightly droop.
     "Of course! It's beautiful!" you smiled, hugging Steve as he spun you around, the dress following.
     A sudden pang of jealousy stabbed at Bucky's stomach, which led him to blurt out, "No, you're beautiful."
     Your brain turned into mush as you looked over to the Winter Soldier's frosty eyes. Unable to speak, all you could do was look at him and just barely smile. Your heart. Thump, thump, thump. Gee. Two handsome boys had called you beautiful in one day-how did this happen?
     "What I mean is-well, the dress is beautiful," murmured Bucky, "but you're beautiful-er. More beautiful, I mean." He shook his head and took a breath, stumbling over his words.
     "Th-thank you," you replied, as Steve released you from his embrace. You walked over to Bucky, giving him a gentle hug. He was jumpy and hesitant at first, but slowly, his arms began to wrap around you, patting you gently on the back.
     "Well, I'm going to go pay for this! I'll wear it out the rest of the day!" you exclaimed, snapping out of your 'lovey-dovey' mode, running over to the woman who had assisted you in putting it on.
     The woman smiled at you, shaking her head. "Your boyfriend has already paid it for you, darling. Paying is not necessary."
     You looked over to the two boys, curious of who had done the deed. Steve was blushing, while Bucky had an empty and blank look in his eyes, looking completely spaced out. "No, I'm, er-don't get me wrong-not her boyfriend... Guess I got to pay for you this time," he smiled, looking down at his feet.
     "OH THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!" you exclaimed, jumping up and down and giving Steve another quick hug. How kind of him, to point out the beautiful dress in the window and to buy it for you!
     An alarm from your phone suddenly rang, signaling the time of Bucky's haircut. "Oh! Buck's haircut is in ten minutes! We have to make a run for it!" you exclaimed, following a quick thank you to the assistant.
     Bucky had snapped out from his trance and returned to reality, now softly smiling. It's my turn now....
